Q: What is your Curl Type?

One question that we receive often is: What is my curl type?
And how do I know if Raw Curls products will work for my curls?

The truth is, for the most part, Curl Type doesn't matter. But having an idea of what you have can be helpful in choosing styling products to achieve the look you desire

While Raw Curls salon-professional water-soluble curly hair products will do great for ANY curl-type, if you are looking for volume, or definition, it may be helpful to know what your curl type is FIRST, before you waste any money on products you don't need.

To answer this question, we will refer to a few graphics which will help to illustrate some of the different types of curls (or "looks") that people can have, as well as a few reference images of some well-known celebrities to help you to better match your curl type to your curl products and what you are trying to achieve!
First, Take a look at this graphic:

Next, pick one or two that are the most similar to your curls
Most times, this graphic is not going to perfectly match your curls. That's ok.

Our objective here is to get a good general idea so we can make informed decisions!
